Understanding the Art of the Living
You know I had a thought this morning that I wanted to share with you guys. It's imteresting in this time of life that we live that people are talking about one crisis after another; fear is constantly plugging the airwaves through negativity, news and other outlets, but there are those of us who are awake and understand that we are not of this world and that this is not how it's really supposed to be.
You see my friends, when we awaken to the truths of life, we begin to understand that life is awesome. Life is not a concept or activity, but life is a person. A person in the name of Jesus Christ. Yes, this is the same person that came and to give life unto us, but it's more than that. You see friends, our lives are much more than we are giving them credit for.
God as a father, understood times and seasons and upon seasons of men, but he didnt forget to give us a plan to deal with it. In our times and seasons of now, the ushering out of the old ways of life and thinking and now ushering into a new age of connecting to the Spirit and to the purposes and plans that have been set before us. You see people are just existing - going about the daily grind, without regard to our what our lives are supposed to be, feeling dissatified, upset and afraid. That is not life! We have come to live life to the fullest and impact the world in an awesome way.
You have to start by taking your thoughts off this world. This world is an illusion of all kinds of sorts, the lies, lusts and mindsets of the world are enacted in greed, undisciplined and against the very foundations of life. Our thoughts need to be on the spirit. For that who and what we are spirit and the Spirit gives life. The Spirit has often been equated to rivers of living water. We are the water. Wherever water goes it gives life. It holds life. It breeds life. Wherever a river is contimated it becomes a swamp.
We are not that. We are not of those who shrink back and are discourage. We are more than conquerers. We must seek God and get our minds off this world and choose to live! We are to be the river of life that flows from us. We are the life of this world and it's the Spirit that leads us into truth. The Spirit bypasses the mind and all of it's reasoning to bring forth a life that exhibit the nature of God, love and so much more.
You see friends, understand this, that we are free from condemnation, guilt, doubt, anger, resentment, judgment, mediocrity and more because we are spirit, we do not walk in these things. We must continue to walk in the ways of the spirit through love, joy, meekness and gentleness. Our lives are to mimic and be attributes that are focused on the Father, where our family begins. Our minds are not focused on the opinions of people (actually they have nothing to do with us anyway and they are none of our business) or on the problems or anything else. Our minds belong on the Spirit within us that leads us to change, truth and to exhibit the mind an attributes of God.
You see my friends, God has never given to us a Spirit or a disposition of fear, but of power, love, and a Sound mind. Now under stand this - it's power - for its only by the Spirit are things done and its the Spirit that gives the work, makes the way before us and connects us to one another; love - our motivation and free from fear. You see love will dissipate fear. Love will straighten out a clouded mind; love will free people walk in the knowledge of who they are now. Love is the language and motivation of the spirit. A sound mind - meaning this - God has given us the ability and wisdom to know things and to carry them out; we do not allow ourselves to be labled by the world in anyway shape, form or fashion; Our identity comes from within and the Spirit is the source.
So my friends, let us not focus on the world (thoughts and patterns of this world) but let us move towards making our lives to focus on the things of the Spirit. Then we can and will live impacting the world free from the lies and man made fears of this world.
